No-Scalpel Vasectomy
A vasectomy is a minimally invasive procedure for male sterilization. While there are many techniques to perform a vasectomy, here at Access Urology, we perform a no-scalpel vasectomy. Without using a scalpel, the vas deferens is able to be accessed, leading to a quicker recovery time, less bleeding, and a lower risk of infection compared to traditional vasectomy.
Faster Recovery
Most men return to normal activities more quickly after a no-scalpel vasectomy.
Lower Infection Risk
A smaller puncture means lower risk of infection.
Faster Procedure Time
The no-scalpel technique is usually completed in under 15 to 20 minutes
Lower Bleeding Risk
Minimal tissue disruption leads to reduced bleeding during and after the procedure.
